His girlfriend was sad, so he helps her into his car, closes the door for her and holds her hand as they drive back to her house. He holds her tight and kisses her a few times, his eyes promising love and happiness.

He cannot stop the sadness, nor the cause of it, because he has to go home. It will be two weeks until his girlfriend sees him again, and her heart won't stop aching until that happens.

He doesn't know how much she misses him.
